Coming up next week on the 20th of May is a translation workshop on the poetry by Weedhsame in Somali with Martin Orwin. Xasan Daahir Weedhsame is widely known in Somalia/Somaliland where he is seen as the most exciting Somali poet of his generation. Martin Orwin is an expert on Somali language and poetry and has been a supporter of the PTC for many years. This workshop will be held at RADA.

Our workshops are open to anyone who has the skills to translate the poetry of a living African, Asian or Latin American poet with an established reputation in their own language.
