I’m going to translate word for word so you can see the structure used in Turkish:
Geceyi (the night) Ölmüş bir güneşin teninden (of the skin of a dead sun) kazıyıp (by scraping) Geçirdim yüreğime (I wore on my heart)

I see two possible verbs to go with heart in the end:
I wore it on my heart - The verb geçirmek can mean to wear something (wear a blouse for instance; bir bluz (a blouse) geçirmek), so here, she is wearing that skin on her heart.
I stroke it onto my heart – the verb geçirmek means to strike, to hit… so there’s more violence here.
