Due to illness, sadly Maxamed Xaashi Dhamac 'Gaarriye' will not be travelling to the UK to take part in our Somali Poets Tour 2011. However, this promises to be a very exciting evening of Somali poetry in which Caasha Lul Mohamud Yusuf will read alongside her translator, Clare Pollard, while Gaarriye's poetry will be read in Somali by Maxamed Xasan 'Alto' and in English by his translator, W N Herbert at The Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea.
