Poetry Translation Centre to celebrate 20th birthday with a year-long programme supported by Arts Council England
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a grant through Arts Council England's National Lottery Project Grants programme to support a year of exciting activity marking the Poetry Translation Centre's 20th birthday!
Through 2024 we are delivering five public showcases in five English cities, working with a host of incredible poets and translators, local communities and emerging artists.
We are also planning some exciting new books and a big birthday party at SOAS, University of London, where the PTC first launched back in 2004. We are thrilled to be collaborating with many event, publishing, community and international partners who have been crucial to the success of our first 20 years, as well as brand-new partners for 2024.
